The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University is in Durham, North Carolina, was first founded in 1969. It is famous as being one of the most global of all business schools, with a presence in China, India, Russia and Dubai. The school is situated in the The Research Triangle, an area in North Carolina anchored by the cities of Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill, which has enjoyed an exceptionally well performing economy due to the presence of numerous high tech companies and research universities.The school is named in honor of J.B Fuqua who gave $10 million to the school. Fuqua enrolled its first MBA class in 1979. The total number of living MBA alumni as of June 30, 2009 is 13,419.

In 2010 Fuqua started work on its campus in Kushan, China. Two years ago, it set up office in New Delhi, India. Ranbaxy Laboratories CEO and Chairman Malvinder Mohan Singh got his MBA from Fuqua School of Business. The INDUS club at Fuqua is especially for the alumni from India. For Indians at Fuqua a lot Indian restaurants are available in Research Triangle Park area which offer Indian cuisines. The International Center at Fuqua School of Business helps the international students who go there through the Cross Continent MBA and also internationalize the education system.
